The thing that struck me about Aanal was that she was not wholly interested in making the most money or getting a lot of publicity for her events. She was MOST concerned with whether or not the people at her events were having a good, meaningful time. And trust me, EVERYONE who came had a great time. The games and activities that Aanal devised were ingeniously constructed to get everyone at the event to mingle and actually make friends. I was the host of both events and I personally made friends that I'm still in touch with to this day. That does not happen for me from a regular speaking gig.
